Moustache Bike is a French manufacturer of high-end electric bicycles. The company was founded in 2011 and got in touch with Magic Way in 2012 to explore the potential demand for their products in Spain.
The probability of success for high-end bicycles was low in Spain at the time, as there were only a limited number of electric shops selling brands from Asia and most manufacturers did not believe in the Spanish market.
However, with Magic Way, Moustache was going to be the first high-end bike brand to propose a strategy to establish the brand in Spain. After some initial challenges, the company decided to create a commercial subsidiary, Magic Way Bike SL, to distribute their brand in Spain.
This company is still in operation and has become a success story in the electric bicycle sector.
Ahooga is a Belgian bicycle brand with its own stores in Brussels and Paris among other cities in Central Europe.
In 2022, Ahooga and Magic Way hold some first meetings to analyze the opportunities in the Iberian market.
For example, it has been possible to verify that its MODULAR model could respond to fleet demands for companies.
Quickly, various companies and municipalities from Santander, Fuentelabrada (Madrid), Vitoria, Bilbao, and San Sebastián became interested in this bicycle, particularly adapted for bike-sharing applications and other professional uses.
The folding models (Folding) are already being offered in several stores in Barcelona and Madrid.
Between 2012 and 2014, Magic Way facilitated several commercial transactions involving Comarth electric vehicles in Spain.
The support and expertise of Magic Way helped to identify a promising market for these vehicles: Resorts
While such establishments are not common in Spain, they are prevalent in the Caribbean, where many hotel chains, such as Paladium Hotels & Resorts, Bahia Principe, Princess, and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, are now clients of TURISCAR ECOTRAIN.
TURISCAR operates its own factories in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Jamaica. Magic Way continues to collaborate with this company.
Thompson is a legendary brand that was founded in Belgium in 1921 and remains a family-owned company.
Their specialty is road bicycles (Race) and their primary market is the Benelux region, Northern Germany, England, and Ireland. Thompson is now looking to expand into other markets but has little experience outside of their historical and traditional area.
They find that the business culture in Southern Europe is very different from what they are used to, with different negotiation styles, schedules, and language barriers. With the help of Magic Way, Thompson is currently learning about the Iberian market.
In a short time, the commercial strategy prescribed by Magic Way has given Thompson excellent prospects for success. They already have sales points in three of the four Iberian countries: Andorra, Spain, and Gibraltar, and are planning to open a sales point in Portugal.
